Weeeee!

Dr. Gandhi says I am "peeing like a Champ". He Keeps decreasing my Dopamine drip and my Blood Pressure is still holding steady. Sorry the picture was slow to come, but Dad has been having a little problem with his technical devices. Had to find a USB cable to get new pics off the camera. We will continue to post any new information that we get. Please keep posting comments for Mom and Dad as they are getting stir crazy just sitting and waiting.

1st, congrats on the birth of your cute lil' guy - he is a doll - and love his name! So glad to hear that his surgery was so successful - sounds like he is progressing by leaps and bounds. He's already getting used to being tough so he can give Kaden & Cydne a run for their money! Just want you to know that you are all in our thoughts & prayers. Wishing Madox a speedy recovery and hope he gets to come home soon. Roger, Devra & Nicole Muench

Way to go Madox!!! I knew you could do it. I told Kyle you were producing more "pee" and he said you need to "pee in the bushes, just like me" yeah I know, sometimes the bushes get a little watering from him - just cant make it to bathroom once he gets outside - I really think he just likes peeing on the bushes. Anyways, keep improving.

Love ya bunches

Dear Madox, Jen, and Kurt,

Uncle Jimmy and Penny both went back to work today to find everyone looking at your pictures, reading about how you're all doing, and telling us what a CUTE baby you are, Madox (and what wonderful parents, family, and big sister and big brother you have). We're so thankful that things are getting better - you're all so awesome! Sleep tight tonight, and we'll check in on you first thing in the morning. We're all praying for you, and we'll see you soon.

Love, Uncle Jimmy, Penny, Colton, Bryan and Dalton

I'm really glad that you are listening to your doctors now. From the sounds of it...you are still being quite the trooper! Hang in there and rest up tonight. If you would tell your Mommmy and Daddy hello for me...also put in there that you want them to get some much needed rest :) Well, have a restful night and I will check in with you in the morning. Uncle Keith is coming to see you tomorrow, so I have given him strict instructions to give you our hugs and kisses since Garrett and I can't be there. Love you so much and I will see you this weekend!

Sweet dreams peanut!

Madox,
I am getting ready to go to sleep. I hope you are resting well. I just want to tell you what a strong little guy you are. I know your family is so proud of all your hard work. I told nurse Laura to turn off your warming lights today and you would wake up and you did. Mom and I both knew you were too comfy to get extubated under those lights!! Hope everything continues to progress. My family and I continue to pray for you. See you Thursday.
Love you,
Shannon RN

What a day! I was so glad to read about the great progress. We are still praying continually for all of you. This bible verse has really helped me in troubled times -

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

I hope it will also help you. May God continue to bless you all during this difficult time.

Love, Jeni Moore & family

Here's a brief run down - with a little bit of light humor, to hopefully give everyone a quick laugh before bedtime.

Within first hour - meet parents, grandparents, and siblings. CHECK

First morning - get circumcission, turn blue. CHECK

For the afternoon - Helicopter ride to St. Louis - GO CARDINALS. CHECK

Day 2 - Meet Doctor Doctor,
brief course on wires and tubes, hey this noodle thing is pretty cool. CHECK

Day 3 - Earthquake - did we land in California and what's a blog? After my first party lost a tube and finally had my first decent meal. CHECK

Day 4 - More food and more family, life is good. CHECK

Day 5 - Saw big sis and bro in cool looking masks, hope mom and dad saved me one. Getting the hang of this, plus the nurses dig me. CHECK

Day 6 - Some days you just have to do what needs to be done. Date with Dr. Gandhi, at least I'll be in good hands. Wonder if he found that balloon from Friday. Heard mom and dad rented a room for 14 and had a party, also heard they had a few party crashers, but I think Grandma took care of them. What a day.

Day 7 - I need to stay awake, it seems lately everytime I take a long nap I wake up with more wires and tubes. Ever get stage fright, try having 50+ people asking if you have gone number #1, talk about pressure. Made Grandpa Patridge post a comment on a blog, who said you can't teach old dogs new tricks. CHECK

Brought friends and family together, met some great people, made hundreds of people cruise my blog - all in the first week. Let's see who can top that.

Dear Madox,

My name is Adison and I'm about 3½ months older than you, but I heard you'll be joining me in the baby room at All His Children. You need to hurry up and get in here because all of these other babies are constantly waking me up and today I lost my socks... Anyway, maybe we'll be buddies when you get here. Mom says you're awfully cute, but I'll have to see for myself.
See you soon! Adison Sanchez (ha!)

Kurt & Jennifer,

We're really glad to hear that Madox is doing so well. We really feel for you guys. I know it's hard to hear that anything maybe wrong with your newborn baby, but it looks like you've got a little fighter. We just wanted to let you know that we're continuing to think of you and we're praying for a speedy recovery.

Good morning Madox! I hope you and your Mommy and Daddy had a good night's sleep. You are an amazing little guy, not to mention very adorable.
It seems that I too must have been experiencing sleep deprivation, because I did not send your cousin, Colton's first message properly. I will try to remember what he had typed to you. I hope you forgive my quicker than Colton did. Take care and have a great day. May God continue to bless all of you Linda Reimer -
