Still Eating

I put Dad on KP duty for the night, while I sent Mom to the Hotel next door for some rest. The Hotel is actually attached to the Hospital and the nurses say they can call their room for an emergency and they could be here in 5 minutes. But if anyone saw Mom sprinting Monday, they would know she could make it in under 3 minutes. Of course, its only fair to scare the beegeebees out of Dad as well. I had another bout of arrhythmias after the first bottle he gave me. The doctors came in and checked me out and said they will watch me closely, but for Dad not to worry. I did eat 55ml at both of the last 2 feedings, and they are trying to decrease my oxygen. I've been doing fine on 1/16 of a liter of oxygen, but not quite able to tolerate 1/32 of a liter . I keep setting off my bells and whistles, which is why Dad is sending out this eary morning blog. Keep in touch.

Good Morning Littlest Ratliff! That Dr. of yours sounds like a real drill sergeant, but I know he just wants to get you home ASAP. If those hospital people get to know you too well, they'll never want you to leave. You look so sweet and sound like you're really trying your best to get well. Jen, I hope you got some sleep last night! And Kurt, you're such a great Daddy. The strength of both of you is what's making the difference for your baby. I am also so impressed that not only are you taking care of Madox, but of Fisher and his family, too! God sees you and your goodness. Have fun this weekend with the "big kids" and try to rest. xoxo the Bergmans

Mighty Madox,
Way to go!!! From your eating habits you must be related to Papa! We are so proud of you and your progress and are anxiously awaiting your arrival at the Ratliff household so you can liven this place up. Kaden and Cydne are doing real well and getting prepared for your arrival home. We spent 3 trips to Wal-Mart yesterday getting fishing poles etc. for the big event today. Papa can't wait until he can bait 3hooks. What a blessing grandkids are!!! Stay strong, hope to see you soon. Keep eating!

All our love,
Grandma and Grandpa Patridge

Madox Alan,
Papa, Cydne, Jacob, Casey and Grandma(she may sit part of this one out) are going fishing today. I want to catch a big catfish on our new fishing poles. Papa will buy you a pole when you get bigger. I got a 'big' boy orange pole and Cydne got a pink one. Hurry home 'little brother'!!! I love you!

Your 'big' brother,
Kaden

Good morning Mom and Dad
I love you!!!!!!

Hey there tough guy! Will you quit scaring your parents??? I know you are just making sure they are on their toes, but still. Uncle Matt and I are making the big trip to see you tomorrow, but Brenna and Gavin will stay with Grandma and Grandpa Friel. Brenna's squeals can give anyone a heart attack! I don't think you need that now, if ever! I can't wait to see you again, but, until then, keep eating, keep getting stronger, and quit scaring your parents! I love you! Hugs and Kisses!

Love, Aunt Lori

OK Madox, I know I told you to milk it for all it's worth, BUT, let's cut out the scary stuff! Hope Mommy is rested and refreshed and Dad can get some rest today. Be sure and tell Fisher and his family that we are praying for them too. I'm sure you are looking forward to those fishing trips your sibs are enjoying today! I'm sure they will have "fish stories" to tell! :) Lots of love and prayers, Mike & Karen
